This luxury vacation rental house not only has beautiful views of the Austrian Alps, but welcomes guests with its own private pool and spa, and seven suite-style bedrooms. Test yourself on the world-class ski runs accessed by lifts a short walk from the villa, or gather with friends and family to watch the pros challenge the mountains.
Bohemia Spa Villa is available on a self-catered or fully catered basis. Self-catered stays include housekeeping and delivery of lift passes, skis and boots, while fully catered stays also include the services of a chef, driver and chalet manager. In warmer weather, you can enjoy the fresh Alpine air from the balcony and terrace overlooking the mountains, but after a day on the slopes, you’ll want to leave your gear in the ski storage area and relax in the sauna or hammam. Swim a few laps in the indoor pool, stretch out in the fitness room and pour a drink from the wet bar to sip in front of the wood-burning fireplace.
Rich in wood paneling, sturdy columns, cozy furnishings and vibrant artwork, the chalet’s interiors are charming and comfortable. Set on the house’s second story to make the most of the views, the open-plan great room features a snug sitting area in shades of cream and plum, and a dining area that seats fourteen. There’s a convenient breakfast area adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen that can be closed off, and a separate TV room where kids can put on a movie while the grown-ups socialize.
Seven bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, make Bohemia Spa Villa a wonderful alternative to a resort for a ski holiday. The well-appointed master suite has a king bed and fireplace, and opens to the terrace. The other six bedrooms each have a double bed, and one has a kitchenette that’s perfect for families traveling with children, older teens wanting their own space or even a couple on honeymoon.
There are three ski lifts within a 10-minute walk, including the famous Hahnenkamm lift. If you’re visiting during the summer, get tickets to the Austrian Open tennis tournament, go mountain biking or hiking, or book a tee time at one of several local golf courses. Before heading home, stop for a day or two in Salzburg, Innsbruck or Munich prior to flying out of the cities’ airports.
